18th December....

...Da'n fore da'n fore da'n fore da'n fore da'n fore da'n fore doppareda'n (blev det ratt?!?!)

Har handlat vara sista presenter idag, trooor jag ialla fall..... Phew!

Here's an update on what we've been doing:

Saturday: Col went on the train to Stevenage to pick up Sammie. He came to spend the weekend with us which was really nice. We made soft gingerbread cake and lussekatter, and Col taught him how to use Flash a little bit - he made a funny Christmas message. What is it with 11 year old boys though? Gore, gore, gore! Hahah! The bloodier the better! Oh! Col made burgers for dinner and it was quite nice indeed. Watched Constantine and Sam got freaked out a little I think! Ate too many sweets too....

Sunday: Bit busy morning. Met Matty and got the train to Stevenage. Got picked up by Chris and Kirsty and off to Walkern! Had a biiiig feast, early Christmas feast, ooh! Lovely! Sandie's trifle was the best ever, secret ingredient being Sloe Gin : ) Got a load of pressies too! Col got sooo many tools! No more excuses for not getting stuff fixed (nah, he's good really). Got a lovely puffy from Sam too... we only opened a couple of pressies, 'cos really it's against my beliefs! Hehhe! Went to a candle lit carol service in the church too. Never been to one before and it was rather nice. Only downside was how cold it was in the church! Used my candle to warm my hands! Oh, and it smelt a bit mouldy (and of old people too!). I thought I knew a lot of carols and stuff but no.... Could only sing along to 1 or 2..... Nice atmosphere though. Got picked up about 9, bit crackered by then! Stayed the night at Col's Mum's, had a cheese party before bed - which meant Col couldn't sleep! Which of course meant IIIIIII couldn't sleep either!!!! Did have a weird dream about a Chinese martial arts man with gills on his back... Don't ask me how.....

Monday: Got up a bit late (Col anyway), got the bus into town, exchanged some stuff and got the last bits.... Wraps it all up... Now big question - are you allowed to bring alcohol through the airport in your hand luggage??!?! Need to search the net.......

See you all sooooon!

Oh, newsflash! Matty is joining us in Sweden on the 29th for the NYE celebrations! Ems, I hope that party is still happening! xxxx

Thursday

Col was gonna take me out to Camden Kitchen for our favourite nosh on our special day, but as money is tight we went to Waitrose and picked up some goodies for our feast instead: ) Yum! We didn't eat all day so we really could stuff ourselves! Yum yum! We even had afters! Ooohh! Lovely lovely! Drank some lovely wine too, just such a nice day all in! Thanks my Love!

Ohhh! I got a really cool pressie too!!! This Life series 1!!! Yeay!!! You want a copy Ems?

Keep the faith!

Wooooow!!!!!! People are so nice!!! Londoners are so nice!!! When they want to! Well, when they're at Somerset House at least!!! As we had a day out celebrating on Wednesday we did some shopping and then headed for Somerset House to watch the iceskating and chill out in the great atmosphere (and kill time before the show). Anyway, as we came into the court yard this guy came up to us and asked if we wanted tickets! He had loads going spare, didn't want money, just for someone to enjoy the tickets! How great isn't that??!!!??!! People do surprise me once in a while! We thought we had two tickets but it turned out to be one ticket and one receipt. We decided I would go (think we all remember what happened last time Col and I went skating?!?!?! Hehehhe! The offical story is, of course, that I pushed him!!! Say no more!). As I was putting on my skates, feeling a little lonely among all the smiling couples, Col turned up! What a lovely surprise! Another kind person, this time a lady, had asked Col if he wanted to skate, she had a spare ticket for him : ) People eh!??! Soooo nice!!!! We skated for a little while but were pretty knackered from cruising around town all day (especially Col as he had to carry all the shopping!), after a little while, with no falling over, we hung up our skates and headed for the bad instead! Hehhe! Killed some time then headed to Trafalgar Studios near Trafalgar Square for The New Stateman! Rik Mayall was so great!!!! Was more like watching an episode of Bottom!!!!! He can just crack you up with a facial expression! Ahhhhh! Col was in heaven that's for sure, sure he laughed the loudest too! Hehhe! We even got on-stage sex! Hillarious! Best of all was Rik's (or Alan B'stard as he's called in the play/series) phone conversations - Tony Blair, and the top one was with the Queen!!! Heheheheh! Laughed so hard!! Made it home pretty quickly, then finished off the evening with Pizza with Baked Beans (Col's invention I think!)

Anyway... My top London tip muct be going to Somerset House by 5.15pm, and get yourself a free ticket! Actually, prebook, go down there and enjoy yourself to the full!!! Can't wait until we get back and head off there with Lesley and Louie! Will be a blast!

Svar till fragor:

Firstly:

HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY JOHAN!!

Been Christmas shopping today. Col did very well, he's almost done... I'm still well behind... Got tomorrow though and Saturday as well... We're off to see Rik Mayall tomorrow in the New Statesman! Woohhooo! I think Col might wet himself with excitement though! Hehhe!!! He's been a bit of a soldier lately, dealing with my moods when shopping and such! Bless you! He went all the way to Stevenage the other night in hope of getting some info for the website he's making, but the meeting got cancelled at lsat minute... And he's away seeing his brother now as well, I think he deserves a medal : ) bit of a do-gooder really! It's left me on my jack again, but at least I've had a chance to wrap some pressies. Oh, found the perfect pressie for both Ems and Ankis... Hiiihihih! Oh, Karro is hopeless... What will I get her?!?!?

Later ppl! Bit bored of all this me me me me stuff when nothing has happened! Lots of things which are iiiinteresting have happened but I can't write it here....

This week...

Monday: Depressed... Made soft gingerbread cake, yum!

Tuesday:Did nada. Johan called with great news! Johan and Lisa are buying a house!!! Cool!!!!

Wednesday: Hunted for a Advent calendar. Sez popped around in the evening, followed by Perry. Had a merry old time! Got a surprise call from Cristelle too! Cool!

Thursday: Tired! Col had to go to the dentist, so we drove to St Venage. Tornado hit London, and we could just imagine it! The weather was awwwful!

Friday: Had a haircut! About time!

Saturday: Went to Brent Cross on a shopping spree, managed to buy 2 Christmas presents! Aghh!

Sunday: Lounge around day watching crappy telly! Oh, and Col fixed the lappy! Oooh!

My life is veeery sloooow right now! At least there's only 2 weeks til Sweden!!! Can't wait!! Maybe next week will turn out a little bit more exciting! Worrying about Christmas... Have not bought any pressies... Think we're swapping with Col's families next weekend...Oooppps! And it's Sharon and Trev's birthdays too! Madness! Got a family meal on Sunday in Walkern, God knows how we will get there... Can't drive the Bug until it's had MOT done (Bilprovning). We reckon a lot is wrong with it and haven't got the pennies to get it fixed, so it'll have to sit outside the house and look pretty! Sooo... This leaves us with some difficulties in getting anywhere outside of London... Ticket to Stevenage is £20! Arrrggghhh! Mad! And then, that's not even that close to Walkern! Hopefully we can get lifts all over the place! Hheheh! If we're lucky! I was thinking of trying the whole bus thing instead.... Could take a few hours but should cost £2 or so! Will research that now.....

Oh, a question: why don't I get any comments left anymore?!?! I do miss those.....

Jingle Bells!

Oohhh! Today has been Christmasy! We decided we have to get in the mood and put up some decorations! By Swedish standards it's veeeery early, but hey, if it'll help us, then sod it! It is the First of Advent after all! And I can find my Adventljusstake! Bit sad... Both the one with the four candles and the electric one are missing.... Where have they gone?!

Had a bit of a Sweden fest this weekend! Annelie's 30ars resa tror jag blev en success! OOopps, I mean Annelie's 30th Birthday trip was a success. Det var Karro, Louise, Sara och sa Annelie da forstas! Tror de har haft fullt upp heeeela helgen! Kom inte till sangs forran 5am What? Why do I keep doing that! ENGLISH DAMN IT! OK, they had a really late flight in to Stansted Thursday night, think they got to bed by 5am! Up and out shopping by 9.30 the next day! Hahah! They came round to us for an Indian about 10pm and must have been knackered! Lots of chatting and catching up. Karro has got herself a brand new job, so pleased for her! Forgot about the time and we had to run to the tube and they managed to catch the last train back! Gosh!

On the Saturday we met them in Oxford Circus, it was madness! Carfree day in Oxford Street and sooooo busy! I'm completely put off, don't think I'll be doing any Christmas shopping there at all! Online it is!!! Hahah! The girls managed to get a few bits though : ) We had a nice break in Borders at Starbucks too, looovely, but soooo manic! This is really the first time I've been around the shops here in London since forever! Maybe I had a look around last Christmas, but it's been a loooong time! And the fashion has changed so much! Been long since there's been so many ugly things about! Still some gorgeous stuff too of course, some really nice boots around...... Ooooohhh... Even more reason for a job! Found two pairs I really liked, one in Clarks and one in Office.... (the ones you tried Karro) 20% off at the minute as well..... Mmmm!

Jobbigt!

Anyhow, think it's time for another search for a sofabed on Ebay..! Oh, gonna stick some pictures from this weekend up as well!

Hugs!

Oh - Col just told me every picture will take 10 minutes as we're on the dial-up... Sorry guys! Will have to wait!

Firefly

OOhhhh. We only have one episode and the film left.... I'm sooooo saaaaad...........

Thursday

So, we're still unemployed bums but hoping our luck changes next week! We have applied for about a million and hardly heard back from any! What?!?! But, we've sorted out a phone and can have internet at home, so should be much bettter now! Like we can call people!! Woohho! That's progress I tell you!

Been to Sharon's today, been lovely seeing her and Trev again, we've been sufficiently stuffed too, no need to eat for a week! Managed to do some job stuff too...

Had Matty around last night which was very cool. He seems to adjusted very well to London life, off to the theatre every other night, salsa dancing, yep, the lot really! Hopefully he's popping over to Sweden for NYE as well, would be very cool indeed! Will have to try to find a cheapish flight : ) Funny talking to someone we haven't seen for a while - what I realized was that Col and I have turned into the one person.... The last few years everything we've done has been together, we have the same opinions, say the exact same things.... Hahahah! We really are Jesscol now!! Is this healthy I wonder.....!

Karro should be in the country in a matter of hours, oooh! We're meeting tomorrow for some shopping (or maybe the girls will need a break and we'll get there for the coffee instead!) WIll have to wait and see!

Wednesday, 29 November 2006

Snart..

....kommer Karro!!!!!

Du, jag tankte bjuda er pa indisk mat, tycker alla om allt, eller ar det na'n som inte ater na't speciellt??! Let me know!

Sunday 26th

Oh, we have news! Things are slowly happening- finally! Col’s designed some stuff for a job, and is waiting to hear what they think. I had a call on Thursday from a company and had an interview on Friday. It was bizarre to say the least! I was meant to have got an email on the Thursday evening (by 5pm), so we went to the internet cafĂ© but nothing… Didn’t really know what to do as I had no details about the company (I hadn’t applied for a job with them, they had got my CV from somewhere), not even a phone number! Soooo, the following morning I just hung about waiting for them to ring me. They admitted it was their mistake, the email hadn’t been sent until 6.30pm! Anyway, they said I could just pop down as soon as poss and they’d see me! Heheh! So I took the train down to Tower Hill and found the place. My interview was with the MD, and the job is PA/Admin for him. He’s a pretty damn cool guy called Marlon. The interview went pretty good I think. I didn’t really know what they were looking for, and knew nothing about the company as not had a chance to check their website..! We ended up chatting about travelling most of the time! Hahha! I’m good at that at least! He did say he’d seen about 30 people and will shortlist 5, and I’m one of three so far. Hahah! Weird! Will find out on Wednesday. Not really sure if I want this job though, it sounds a bit all over the place, haven’t even seen a job spec! And it’s 8.30-5.30! Ahhh! How will I cope!?!

Met Sez for a coffee at the Bean and Cup CafĂ© in Camden, so great to see her! So much to chat about as always. Can’t wait until we can actually see each other on a regular basis again!

Saturday: Had a really nice day, Col’s Dad Brian, Sandie and Sam came over for the day. We hung out for a few hours and then we were treated to dinner, went to an Italian around the corner, yuuum! Col was in heaven, he has now officially named Saturday to Mussel Saturday! Half a kilo of mussels, yep, heaven for him indeed! I had lovely pasta with pesto. Came back home for some tea and cake which was followed on by killing off everyone with some of our pictures from Asia. And some bubbly too! Yum! I accidentally drank Col’s too…! Hmm! Hope someone is off to France soon so we can get a few boxes of wine… Always handy!

It’s been pouring down with the rain the last couple of days, thunder all morning today! Cool! We’re not getting dressed today, just gonna lounge around! Hoping to see Ivanhoe, it’s been sooo long!

Oh, Karro is arriving on Thursday! Cooooool!! She’s got the gang with her. I was planning on having them over for lunch or dinner if they have the time for that! It’s all about shopping and clubbing I think! Karro – let me know what you think! Can’t believe it’s almost December! Madness!

Monday 20th

Sorry, been a looong while!

Still job hunting! I went one further and actually got one! Well, it was for tomorrow for an investment bank in Piccadilly, and I decided I don't actually have any clothes or shoes for that matter to work anywhere posh!!! So had to say no in the end... Little bit short notice anyway, just got the call an hour ago, and we're at Col's Mum's!!! Panic!!! Got nervous there for a minute! Got another email about a children charity, hope they'll call me back tomorrow. It's in Green Park and sounds like an OK thing to do. Will have to wait though... Looks like 80 people applied for it so.... Hmmm...

Not done too much since I last 'blogged', had a lovely lovely weekend, just me and Col, chilling out, going for lovely walks - the weather has been stunning! Sunny and bright! Mmmm! Col managed to change the gaskets on the bug, we bought some new ones as the old ones had completely vanished, and lots of oil was trickling out... One of the many places with oil leaks! Well, this one has been fixed now! Hooray!

Went out on the piss in Camden with mates from old work on Wednesday night - ooohhh! I've missed them so! Had a really cool night! We had some dinner in NW1 and it was tasty! God bless those Thais, they know how to cook! Got home OK too, tube doesn't take too long! Walked Sez half way to the res first, couldn't let her wander the streets all by herself now!

Tired now, will try to update some pics, and that's it from us in the UK :)

Cross fingers for workie!

New house!

Moved in on Friday! Woohhhooo! Been very busy! Did a couple of runs to Great Ashby and loaded the van. Col's Mum and Trev helped lots too. Went and celebrated in Pizza Ezpress afterwards, tasty! Had one glass of wine and felt a bit tired! Think we all were starving by the time we actually got to eat!

Saturday was full of sorting out, and Sunday was Ikea day : ) Bought a bookcase, coffee table, tv table and a chest of drawers. Oh some extra bits and bobs too of course, can't go without picking up some candles for example!

Today has been a lot of sitting around. Had to wait for a plumber to come and fix our boiler...cos, yes, we've been without heating and hot water all this time!!!! Arrrgghhh! It's been coooold!!!!  Freezing!!!! It got sorted today though, turned out to be the switches that were loose and dodgy! So simple! Now we're over at Col's Mum's again, ready to load the car with some of my book boxes... Only they're heavy and we're both knackered! Don't know what to do!

Time for some emailage now! Smell you later!

We're coming home!!

We've booked our tickets now! Flying to Copenhagen on the 23rd of December, dagen fore dopparedagen, train gets into Kalmar at 14.53, hope Kullzenska still is open so we can meet for our annual 'fika' and natter! Emsen, I hear Ankis will be there too : ) Great!! Just hope it won't be too mad with millions of people around! Actually, it'll be pretty cool! Can't wait, so excited!!!! Staying until the 1st, got a train back at 9am!!!! No need for sleep! Emsen, how are the party plans coming along?? Still OK I hope!?! Haven't been home for NYE in years, will be soooo cool!!!! Can't wait to share Christmas with Col too, let's hope for lots of snow - don't think he knows what it really is!!! Oh oh oh!!!! This week is turning out great, found a couple of good jobs too, which I'm applying for... Oooh! And the move on Friday!!! We're just sooo excited!!! Bought a kettle today! Think when we're home we'll have to pick up some stuff too! If Karro isn't around, well, maybe I can nick some of her stuff! Heheh! I'm the bigger sister after all! Need to check Ebay now, have lost two sofabeds on there already! At least I helped push the price up a bit for them!

Wooohoo! Not hungover! Tror han satte pa denna lilla akten for pappan, maste ju suck up sa mycket som mojligt. Uuuuggghh! Good news at last!!!!

We're moving in on Friday!!!!!!!!!! Wooooohooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news no2:

We've decided to got to Sweden for both Christmas and New Year : ) We'll have Christmas at Dad's even though noone will be there, and we're planning on doing surprise visits to people! So be beware!!! (Emma, Dude, Johan..!)

Off to Bonfire/Fireworks night now (Guy Fawkes) should be lots of fun! Hopefully will come home with all limbs intact too!!

Friday, 3 November 2006

Todays rant...

we watched 5 episodes of Frasier today!!! My God! All inbetween de-fleaing the house : ) No more bites for us we hope! We also popped down to the leisure park and bought some tickets to Borat for Sunday night! Wooh! And we got a call from Josh, at last, he said he spoke to his manager about us getting the flat, and all he needs now is something to prove we live here... It's so hard to get a house in this country... You need a house to get a house! Damn them!! Hoping we'll be moving beginning of next week now.... Please! I'm busy shopping for sofabeds on Ebay so lots of people and come over and visit!!! Did I tell you Col changed the gear fluid for the van?? Well, the gears actually go in and out as they should! Amazing!!! Also, been doing some Microsoft Word testing, I thought I'd forgotten it all, but no! It's all there at the back of my mind, trying to get out! May still be hope for me..! Should be jobhunting like mad now, oh yes, we're ready for it!!! Speaking of which - very proud of Johan, he's got himself a new job, same kind of stuff as before, but he managed to get a very nice pay rise and also get the bonus he's due from his old job thrown in for good meassure! Congrats! (Col says we didn't actually see 5 episodes of Frasier, only half of two of them.... Still! Also been catching "Only in America" with Ferne and Reggie, they're soooo funny!!!! So what if it's for kids! Had a very cool night last night msn-ing with Ems, miss her sooooooooo much!!!! Not fair, she should come and visit more I think.... Oh, and noone is gonna be at my Dad's for Christmas - what ever will we do?!?!? Emma's Nan's is sounding very tempting!! She's just the sweetest lady too :) Think it runs in the family!

Contemplating coming home for NYE, but we just don't know!!! Need to have a good old think about it! Ryanair has some offers on at the moment too.... Ohhhh..... Oh, great news too, Sez&Co want to come to Sweden in the summer, so I'm thinking - massive Midsummer party, what do you think?!?!?!

My boy...

...has finally started his bloggage! Check it out!

November 1st

Col won Pinch Punch, pretended it was a cuddle he wanted and then he did it! I was barely awake! Unfair!

Had a pretty cool Halloween evening. Had lots and lots of little Trick or Treaters here! Went to Walkern and went round the village with Sam too, he did well, enough sweets for the year I think! Went to the graveyard too... Spooky or what?!?! It was a cold and dark night, as we came to the back of the church, the bell suddenly rung! Hahhah! Then a load of birds took flight! And so did we! Hahah!

Had some bad news yesterday too. Lydia's not too well... She's gonna go to Cornwall for a while now and hopefully get back on track.

Went to see Josh  the Estate agent this morning. Gave him some papers and stuff. Finally got my bank statement from Sweden (veeery quick!) but we still haven't received them from Barclays. No surprise there!! Josh did say that 'cos we've been abroad the last 6 months, there could be a problem, so we have to wait until he's spoken to head office..... Please please please!

After Whetstone we popped by Halfords to pick up some oil for the gearbox. Col thought it could do with a change; and as for as long as we've had it it's never been changed (and we've been pretty much everywhere!)... Turned out the bolt had rusted shut, but a little WD40 sorted that prob. So, it's all changed now and Col says the gears work wonderfully! Better than ever! Good news! Nothing can stop us now!

Vilket klant arsel! Det normala beteendet fortsatter som ni ser..!

It's bloody freezing here now! Gonna have some more tea I think! Oh, making meatballs for dinner tonight, heheheh, with boiled potatoes (as traditional as it comes) Just don't think anyone likes boiled pots...We'll have to see! Will be tasty with the sauce I'm sure! :)

Monday, 30 October 2006

Wow!

Col's recovered from his hangover now! Wow!! He did so well walking around Ikea with me : )

Have tried to sort out the car today, need to fill up oil of some kind for the gearstick. After some research Col found it. Turned out that the van's probably never had it topped up, and the nut has rusted shut! All good fun! Col will have to give it another go tomorrow.

Forgot to tell you all, but yesterday was like an early summer's day here, so fantastic! And with the trees changing colour, well, it was just stunning : ) Today is more autumny, cold and grey. Well, it's to be expected!

Gonna teach myself some more Microsoft stuff... Just how much have I forgotten in the last 1.5 years?!?!?!

Sunday, 29 October 2006

Sez's Halloween Party (which turned out to be a Perry party!)

Just got back from sunny Essex and a really cool Halloween party! Col went as the devil himself, I was gonna go as a vampire, but the teeth I bought didn't fit! I've got a big gob, or they were made for kiddies..!

Had a bit of a stressful morning. Found out that Doze had his 21st birthday party last night, and we missed it... Hm, all we knew was what Chris mentioned the other night: that they were popping up the pub. What a shame! I would have really enjoyed watching him be sick everywhere too! Heard it was really noisy! Got him Slither, hope he'll like it as much as we do :)

Went for a nice walk with Sammy too which was very nice. Walkern is a wee bit pretty!

Got back to Col's Mum's and had to pop out straight away. Keith was coming around and we rather give him, and ourselves, a bit of space. No more arguments thank you very much! Went and stocked up on goodies to bring to the party. When we got back the second time around we stocked up the car with lots of duvets and wooly hats and stuff (we were planning on staying the night in the van). Then we transformed Col into the beast, heheh, lots of red everywhere! Drove to Sez's, didn't even get lost, hm, kind of once maybe, but I got us back on track! At Sarah's we thought we saw Perry outside the house. Turned out to be a gang of their mates dressed up as Perry! Facemasks and boiler suits! Hillarious! There were sooo many Perrys!!!!! Everywhere! Quite freaky!!! The party was a really cool affair, had a BBQ too, so very stuffed indeed. Got very drunk too :) So cool to see Sez too, haven't seen her since the wedding 2 months ago! We've just been a bit trapped! Hopefully we'll get the flat midweek and all will be back to normal!

Drove back home this morning via Ikea :) Lucky us! Especially Col, he just loves that place! Well, the meatballs anyway! Had lunch, looked at some beds and sofas, then drove home. Now it's time to eat some more, oh, and I'm gonna see if I can find out how to get red wine stains out of wooden tables.... Hold on Sez!

Thursday, 26 October 2006

Oh, oh!

Oh, Mulberry's Pasadena, pretty!

Thursday

Another day, another week, another month! Can't believe it's the end of October! Clocks go back on Sunday... Halloween on Tuesday and then not long until Bonfire night. It'll be Christmas before long!

Col went to the dentist yet again today : ) think he likes it a little too much! Must have spent £1500 nearly now in the last year on treatments! And his teeth look good! I don't get it!!! I've not been to the dentist for a few years now, ugh, could be bad! Only thing is I don't even have a dentist anymore! My Dr Ko (he's Chinese) has gone private, and is out of my budget now! Crazy! Col's dentist seem pretty good, but again, he's private. The dentist dilemmas here eh...!

I'm sure there were some actual things I was meant to put down here tonight, but I'm tired and wanna read my Tao of Bruce Lee book.

So, nighty night folks!

Oh, been watching a program on BBC called Rome or something, very cool indeed. My favourite emperor is Nero cos he's maaad!

Flat maybe??!

Oh! I think we might have bagged ourselves a flat!!! We handed over the deposit today!

It's a one bed, unfurnished in Whetstone, right next door to a church (we got hooked on them in Europe see!)

The lounge is really big, lovely kitchen, bath and shower, nice big cupboards in the bedroom and built in shoe racks!!! AND washing machine and fridge/freezer! We're so pleased! Just need to get a job now...!

Still coughing away....

Nothing's changed with my health. Mornings, evenings and nights are spent coughing away.. Boooo! Boring!

Went to view two flats last Friday, both in Whetstone. Were meant to see one in Crouch End too, but we pulled out on that one. It was above shops and no parking so no good. The first place we saw wasn't all that nice. It's in a quiet street, a bit too quiet for my liking. Last house in a cul-de-sac... I just felt like we'll get robbed living there. The flat itself was pretty big, bigger than I've ever had (2 bedrooms!), the kitchen was worn down, but livable. The bathroom was pretty nasty though... The second flat was a bit of a joke. No parking and it was on the 4th floor... The floors in were wooden (nice) but not done properly and loose everywhere! Stupid! I've seen another place which looks pretty good, not sure about parking again though... Always a trauma! Need to move asap though, so might have to go with the first one and just suffer it for 8 months.... Will have to call them again tomorrow, maybe my dreamflat has come in!! I mean "our" of course ; )

Spent most of today driving round little villages near Great Ashby. It's so pretty!!! Horses everywhere, green hilly fields! Stunning! Stayed out of the house whilst Col's brother was over. No need for another argument. Best to get out. Brother Keith had a bit of a shouting match yesterday, and it's just not my thing. He's going on about us having his DVDs now (the ones he mentioned I had bought!!), so it's a barrell of laughs. Hold on to them or they'll disappear!

Spoke to Karro quickly (will try to remember to call her again) and she seemed in a good mood. Spoke to Dad too, and he seemed just fine. Said Johan has an interview on Wednesday -so- good luck!!!

Dinner time now, we've got stew, yummmmmm!!!

Oh, we watched Wallace and Gromit, the curse of the Were Rabbit again last night - it's soooo great!!!

Pictures from our "weekend away"

Not sure if you know or not, but we were supposed to go away the other weekend. We loaded up the car like the good old days, filled it with water and all that jazz. Prepared ourselves for the cold (hats and big duvets)....We got as far as to Essex...We visited an old castle (so we though, it was more of a child amusement place al la 1066). The car sounded terrible the whole way, Col had great problems trying to change the gears. Bit of a headache going down those lanes and all... So we decided to turn around and head for home, and stop off at some villages on the way. This is how we ended up just down the road from home! The sun was shining and it was a glorious autumn day! Even hot in the sun! We went for a lovely walk, had lunch in the car (we ended up blocking the whole road with our little Lovebug!!Heheh! Had a few guys in poser cars having to turn around!!), played a bit of Uno and Star Wars and Buffy Top Trumps (I'll have you know I whipped Col's arse!!) (He says no, but hey!!). Got home about 7-8, in time for supper! We know how to have an adventure!

Rant of the day (please forgive me, I have a fever)

OK, nu borjar vi fa nog... Senaste dramat i vart lagenhets hittande... Now, this isn't exactly how it happened... What?

We might still have to do that.....

(F'lat om allt ar obegripligt, men jag e sa arg, och sa har jag ju alla de dar knivarna i ryggen att leva med...)

Japanese Google..

网络日志 which I think means Jess and Col on the Road, oooorrr, "Ikea, ceremony, moving" (em, not making much sense, thing is I've been visited by a Japan and they searched for Ikea and got me, ooohh, I'm so pleased... HEhhe!)

Friday the 13th

Hello hello! We're back on! Internet is back and so are we!

Friday 13th today, and I don't normally believe in these things (yeah, right, I'm probably a little bit more superstitious than most), but we're cursed!! We finally managed to arrange some viewings of a couple of flats... We were ready to go, went to the car, started it... and the noise! God! Looked at the back of it, there was oil everywhere... Inside in the engine, well, it was completely covered in oil too... So we've gone from a dodgy clutch to something completely different. Just don't know what yet... So, Col's got his best clothes on, and is ready to get mucky! Hopefully get it sorted and then view the flats on Monday...Arggh!!!! We're cursed!!!!

The last few days we're been busy cleaning up sick everyday. Don't know who it is, but one of the cats is a little poorly... No walking in the dark! Might get slippery! Hmm.. Watched a bit of Fraiser as well... Seen a few films... Lots of flat hunting... The days are drifting away... Had a lovely afternoon yesterday, we sat and had lunch in the garden! It was hot!! Lovely!! Since it's been so misty and rainy, it just lifted our moods! Fab!

Hopefully shopping for some Halloween stuff this weekend. Col's taking Sam trick or treating (maybe for the last time) and we need some cool bits. Had a good play in Sainsburys the other day, so many cool Halloween toys! Haha! We messed around until we heard "Security to the blue isle", hm, that's where we were!!!

Ems, New Year's Eve sounds great...!!! Vet bara inte hur lange vi kan stanna i Sverige. Vad har du for planer???!

Johan, Lisa; ni hittar nog na't hus snart : )

Karro, hur blir det med Chile?? Du maste ju vara hemma over jul, or else!!! Har du sagt till pappa att vi kommer?

Getting a bit stressed, not knowing what will happen.... oh well, back to the searching then... Some emails to cheer me up would be appreciated!

Swedish elections have taken place... We're now leaving the Socialist government behind (after more than 10 years??) and are going for Moderaterna, bloody Conservatives.... Downhill from here onwards then....

Today is the day...

...we got brain cancer... Arrgghh!

Anyway, we're trying to do little projects to get the little brain cells back into shape:

* Col's selling old junk on Ebay (lots of old games!)

* Col's teaching me Excel and stuff

* More Suduko than ever (not sure this is healthy)

I don't know.... I've started doing situps and stuff : ) managed to do 60 day before yesterday, maybe I'll do 70 today....

Did pop into town today as needed to go to the bank.

Oh, great news by the way - Trouble the missing cat returned last night! Wohoo!

Oh2, the move to Great Ashby has been postponed one week, which means the Wrights will be on Jolly Hollies so we're doing the move! Cool or what?!

September 11th

Spent the weekend in a pretty busy manner. Watched Narnia over at Col's Dad's on Saturday night. I still think the Ice Queen is pretty damn cool! On Sunday we went to a BBQ to celebrate Brian's birthday (which is today - Happy Birthday!) - a fantastic day. The weather was just perfect!! Hot and sunny! Luxury! Me and Col got some pressies too from Auntie Di, Col got a cool wireless thingy to the iPod (all he needs is the iPod now AND good news is, Keith thinks that Emily's got it in Cornwall!! Hope so!) and I got some Clarins stuff - lovely It's just the best stuff, I'm all extra smooth today : )

Found out that I have free calls to Sweden on Saturdays this month (got a very cool phonecard) so - people - be in on Saturday so I can call you!!!!! Think it's from midday to midnight! Wooh!!!

Been very hectic in the house this weekend, the nerves of the move is kicking in! All means we can start planning our move now too! London!!!Ohh! Missing it!! Sorry mates in London, will get to see you all soon I hope!! And Virre is coming to London too, so will be a really cool autumn : )

The last few days have been filled with watching different things about Sept 11th 2001 as well... Still can't get over what happened. So so tragic.

Blackberries!

What a beautiful day!! Sunshine all day, it's been hot! Unemplyment is a bliss sometimes!

Col fixed the car in the morning. No more oil leakage for us (well a little bit, it's a vw after all and I'm sure that's what  they're supposed to do!) Test drove the car to Walkern, it seemed OK, not as smelly as the other day! No weird noices either! Went for a lovely walk to Clay End too. Ohhh! Beautiful! Hertfordshire really is pretty stunning : ) Ended up stuffing our faces with blackberries and filled our waterbottle to the brim with them! Now, what should I make with them??!?!

Sez - still not sure about Friday night. Waiting to hear from the Brents. Will let you know asap!

Our Lovebug....

Moved the van today... It made a veeery strange noise and spat out lots of oil... There appears to be a biiig leak from somewhere... near the heat exchanger Col thinks... Oh dear... We're not going anywhere until this is fixed... Oh! Leaves us tomorrow as fixing day so cross fingers for us.... This is the worst it's been since we bought it (and it didn't work then..) - the Cardiff trip killed it off, luckily we made it home at least!

Karro!

Ar du hemma annu?? Kommer du och halsar pa snart?!?!

Baby I'm Bored!

Found these funny sites to occupy myself with! I already use my secret mind powers, but might try the sneezing thing! Pretty good!

And What Old People Do For Fun is OKish too... Hmm... Need something to doooooo! Ohhhh. I know! I'm gonna watch Walk the Line, that'll sort me out!!! Oh!

Smile Time!

Buffy Park!

Look what I found...

Detta fick mig att skratta.... Oh, saknar Buffy, maste nog se lite......

"Yes, the Buffy-Angel romance is based on something from my own life. A very similar situation, except obviously I'm not a vampire, and the girl was a little taller, and her name was Emily, and a year older than me, and she didn't really like me, and I just kind of hung around outside her bedroom once or twice, not peeking or anything, but you know, and the one time I talked to her she was eating hamburger and she choked on this piece of gristle and coughed in my face, her friends were all laughing but I kept the gristle in my memories book, at first it kinda smelled but then it got hard so that wasn't so bad, I don't think Emily really knew my name exactly, but our love was forbidden, I'm pretty sure I remember that. So, yeah, I AM Angel. But in a Snyder kind of way." Joss Whedon

Autumny Day

First day which make me feel this way! Luckily haven't hadd to go outside...yet!

Just finished jPod by Douglas Coupland and found out that he's made a film! Why didn't I know about this?! It was made 10 years ago!!!

Gonna get back onto the Dylan biography now : )

All dday reading! And Suduku... God, my life has taken a turn! Nothing exciting all day at all!! Grr! Maybe lack of money could have something to do with it! Oh, thought my car insurance company had forgotten to bill me, but it was just stoopid Barclaycard who had cancelled my account and I therefor couldn't pay! Thanks for letting me know! Hmmm!

Andreas and Marie are getting married today - congratulations! Johan's the Best Man, hope he does good!! I want photos!!

Friday, 1 September 2006

Booo!

Jobsearching is very tedious! Booo! My CV is very boring too...! Can someone just offer me a job please?!? Looked for jobs for Col too, funny, I don't understand anything of the job specs!! Heheh! They all sound very dull! Maybe we should just emigrate and open up a kitten sanctuary... Maybe another trip...!??!

Thursday, 31 August 2006

Col's Computer Services

First day of peace and quiet and nothing planned!!! Well, for me at least. Col has gone to Walkern to fix all the computers he can get his hands on today. Not for me, no thanks! Just had a bath, oh! Been researching jobs, reading, eating liqourice and listening to The Stones and A-ha : )

Not a bad day! Just can't believe how busy we've been since we landed back from Asia. In Sweden we had 1 night off that was all and as I said, this is my first day to chill... Poor Col still has to wait for that! Oh, nevermind! Hopefully we won't be chilling out for too long though as work is needed.... Should hopefully be moving back to London next week - so exciting!!!

Here's God!

Ser han inte piffig ut i sin Jade Grona jacka!

ROLLING STONES!!!!!

How cool was last night!!!! Woooow!!! They still know how to rock and boogie!!!

This was the set list from last night's gig at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales:

JJ Flash
It's Only Rock And Roll
Oh No It's Not You Again
Let's Spend The Night Together
Live With Me
Streets Of Love
Midnight Rambler
Tumblin' Dice
Slipping Away
Before They Make Me Run
Miss You
Rough Justice
Start Me Up
Honky Tonk Woman
Sympathy For The Devil
Paint It Black
Brown Sugar
(Encoure)

Can't Always Get What You Want
Satisfaction

Kooks were the supporting band (never heard them before, God, they were dull)- their sound system was really rubbish too. I was worried it was just the sound of the stadium, but all was fab when the Stones came on.

Will write more later - now it's time for lunch! Oh, and we saw Alice Cooper too!

For all the Vegetarians out there...

Other stuff we did...

* Had a pre-birthday dinner with Ems at Zorba's where we got all the free coffee we could drink (Ems is the one they all wanna suck up to of course!). Had lots of nice chats too which was about time! Need more of these!!

* Played Kubb with Dad, Col won as always!

* Had mucho Kraftskivor, ooh! Col's in heaven!

* Started watching FireFly with Emsen, cool stuff!

* Went to IKEA (twice) - wohooo! Next time I hope to do some shopping too!

* Watched Kopps with Dad

* Helped Karro move into her new place - it's gorgeous! She'll be there for a little while and has made it look good indeed

* Baked a lot of cakes... MMMmmmm!

* Saw pics from last summer - we were fat!! Too many cakes!

* Went for lovely walks (more like field excurtions when Johan and Lisa came along!)

* Picked gooseberries and mushrooms - found lots of edible ones this time (www.svampguiden.se helped us out)

* Got very drunk and walked home in the rain, then watched Slither with Johan (I fell asleep...)

Did I tell you we just about made our flight from Heathrow btw?? So much hassle with all the no handcreams etc terror threat... Hm... All these women not wanting to hand their make up over... They should have read the news really!

South Ă–land

Spent today with little brother Johan and his girlie Lisa. Drove all the way to the Southern tip of the island, Ottenby. First we stopped off at Eketorp Borg (fortress from Viking era or such...) and had a quick look around. They have recreated most of the place, made copies of what the houses inside the fortress looked like. They've even recreated the pigs and chickens...oh, maybe they were real! Actually, the pigs were behaving most perculiar, ruining the lawn that's for certain!

Ottenby was full of weird and wonderful birds as always. The place is so gorgeous. Unfortunately the lighthouse called LĂ¥nge Jan was under scaffolding (which we are used to from our Europe travels...) so we couldn't go up, but we did have a good look around the museum and stuff. Saw lots of massive, fat seals too. So cute!!!

On the way back we went via the West coast (there're 3 roads; one on the East, one West and one in the middle, don't think that one goes all the way though!) and checked out quite a few Pottery Workshops. Nice! And pricey too!

Knackered now! Too much sun and fresh air really can wear you out!

Oh, Auntie Dude is coming around for a little in a minute, best go!

Sunday, 20 August 2006

Hemma till sist!

Home at last! Been a few busy days, but not really that busy. We+ve walked around the village, been to the sea, helped Dad out, seen the family and even a couple of friends, the most important one being Ems last night of course! Had a session of Firefly and wine and lots of talking. So nice to catch up! It+s a crying shame that we live so far away from eachother... Col thinks so too, think they have more in common with eachother than they even realize!

OK, gonna go to Ikea for breakfast now, maybe should wake Col up first and tell him the good news!

Monday, 14 August 2006

Sez and Perrys Wedding!

Sarah and Perry finally did it! This is what we left Asia from and was it worth it! Such a cool time. We got our Bug stocked up and hit the road on the Friday. Got to Salisbury, checked into our campsite and watched the sunset. Hooked up with Sez in the evening, made her jump! She came back from the bar and didn't see us so we snuck up right behind her, she turned around and - there we were, right in her face!

Saturday came and time for the Wedding. Got a ride to Old Wardour Castle with Mike and Prisca. Got there in plenty of time and had a chance to check out the castle. It's pretty spectacular! Filmbuffs will know it from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves as Hood's castle.

Ceremony was lovely, Sarah looked stunning, and Perry didn't look to bad either!

Then back to the camping ground, a quick bite to eat, then onto the Rugby Club for the Reception. Both me and Col were so excited, we were gonna get to see Jules and Cheryll!!!! Sat down for a Pimms (ohhh! I love weddings and Pimms!) Then we saw Cheryll and Jules walking along the road (two heads was all we could see!) and ran over to them! Ahh! They looked so fab! The glamour had arrived to Salisbury! Spent the rest of the evening chatting away and getting merry to say the least. We had a bit of a dance and after the standing ovations post Col's Crab Dance it was time to leave. Think we're out of practise when it comes to drinking!

Next morning we hung out with the girlies and made our way to The Reid's for a mighty BBQ. We left at 2ish, did a tour of Salisbury, checked out the Cathedral and St Thomas Church. Lots of pretty old roads and the River Avon looked nice too!

Met a right weirdo in the Cathedral...an American doing commentary to his videoing....."This is the highest spiral in London.....oh, but we're not in London now".....Well???!! All we could do was burst out laughing, I truely hope his rellies here that when they have to sit through his video...!

Then onto STONEHENGE!!!! Cool! First impression was that I thought it'd be bigger, but when we parked up and walked over you could see how massive it really is. How did they build it?!? I was tempted to wear my "Lucia dress" (white big thing it is) which I had packed by mistake and jump around singing some pagan songs... Oh, next time : )

The rest of the drive home was a pretty wet affair... It poured down!!! Thunder and lightening too! And looooots of queues of course! I got a bit wet cos the seals aren't that good around the doors..!

A wicked weekend was had by all!

Bye Bye Havaianas...

Oh no!!! Drama!!
We were walking down the road in town yesterday, had just been to the bank...when...my beloved Havaianas took their last step... My right foot strap came off!!! So there we were, me no shoes!!! Had to walk into Primark (we were luckily almost right outside it!) and buy myself another pair!! Ended up with a lovely pair of brown heels : ) BUT, walking in  them were harder than expected.. Have worn my flip flops for the last 6 months so got a few new blisters now!

Anyway, main thing is - does anyone know how to fix my flip flops?? Will super glue do the trick?? Or will walking over 3 continents just have to be enough, and may they rest in peace??!

Col's birthday and Alton Towers!

Wohoo! What a day!!! Got up rally early and had a singsong for Col. He's getting on a bit now, 24 and all : )

Then Keith and Sam came and got us at 7.30am.... Off we went in Sharon's car. Took about 2 hours to Alton Towers.

Had managed to get 1/2 price tickets and saved ourselves £50! Cool!

Rides we went on were (in order):

Rita, Queen of Speed (0-110km/h in 2 seconds)

Corkscrew (Rollercoaster like a...)

Oblivion (200ft sheer drop!)

Oblivion (no queue so we went again!)

Nemisis (G-Force greater than a Space shuttle takeoff!)

Air (Head first upside down Rollercoaster!)

Katanga Canyon (wet wet wet!)

I didn't get scared at all. Normally I go with my sister or Ems and we like to wind eachother up close to being hysteric! This time it was just pure fun! I like being scared too though!

Rita was the quickest Rollercoaster I've been on. Corkscrew was cool. nice soft bumps. Oblivion wasn't as scary as I thought it'd be! Nemisis was wicked!!! Air - well, a copmpletely new experience! Fab! Finished off the day with the floaty water thing which was nice too.

Ended up back in Walkern at Col's Dad's place for some well deserved cake. Yum! As we#ve insured our Love Bug again we decided to move it to Sharon's house, so the guys got it started no problemo! Cool! We have a car again! Have decided to drive it down to Salisbury too and camp (bit of a money saving plan really!). Got the car taxed this morning too so truely ready to go!

Baby we're back!

Ahhhh! We're back!!! Had a very long and tiring flight (took us 25 hours from door to door). Feeling jetlagged as hell, still! Really hard to get over this one!

Got picked up at the airport by Trev, bit of a soldier as we got in at 6am or so... Had a bit of a trauma as we were about to leave the plane - some idiot had taken a can of shaving creme onboard - it had leaked and the overhead compartment was full of the stuff! AND we had our lovely new suits in there! All our bags were soaked too...! Not what we wanted! Everyone was really helpful though, even the pilot came to check on us : )

Got home, had 45 minutes sleep, did some unpacking and washing (wohh!). At lunchtime we got entertained by Keithyboy, Col jumped him outside and they were both very excited to meet again!

Had a cheese fest all day too : ) Cheese sandwiches for brekkie, cheese on toast for lunch, and I had a STilton Crumble Pie for dinner (Col had Ale and Kidney Pie).

Col's Mum got home about 6, it was lovely to see her again! Brought some orchids back for her and she really liked them : ) Good!

Went out for a nice pub meal with Sharon and Trev, and Col's Auntie and Uncle came along too. What a lovely treat! We were all pretty knackered though. When we got home I fell asleep straight away - lasted longer than I thought I would!

Glad it's a bit warmer here today, even sat in the garden and had our lunch! Think I even caught the sun! Wow! Last night was a joke, soooo coooold! And then we found out that it was 20'c..... That's not cold!! Damn, we've been climatised! Our bodies have a lot to get used to! Like no more rice diet : )

Spoke to Karro yesterday too, can't believe it's been 8 months almost!!! Miss her and the rest sooo much! Not long to go now though!! Oohh! She had lots of news and seem to be enjoying her work at the cafe! Can't wait to go and get some free coffee and waffles!!!

Matty is on his way round so best get going. A few beers in the garden is on the agenda I think : )

Oh, we saw a ladybird yesterday!!! It's like a rare thing for us!!!

Went to Tesco's too today and there's a new type of Marmite in a squeezy bottle! Not sure I like that...!

The Fish Feast has Begun!

Now that we're on our way home we can afford to treat ourselves! Bring on the Mussels! (For Col)

Back to Bangkok... Again!

We're back i Bangkok again! Oh yes!! It's Monday and we fly out in 3 days!!! Oohhhh! We're sooo ready to come home now!! 6 months has been enough for ths time!

The weather is crap here, overcast, humid and hot! Luckily we have an a/c room and have a place to hide out!!! Our landlady is the sweetest thing too! Shows us that Thais can be sincere and nice too!

Went to the Weekend Market yesterday - wow! It's the biggest market in the world...probably! Soooo cooool! Got lots of nice pressies and had some lovely Frappaccinos and felt pretty great about ourselves : )

Next couple of days will hopefully consist of some more shopping, eating and drinking, and I was thinking masages/facials/pedicures...! Wonder if Col will agree to all this!!!

Time to head out for the daily dosage of Red Curry I think...! MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Here's Dragon and Tiger

they're a bit cooool!!

4 nights in a row....

OK, we're officially cinema fanatics!!!

Last night we saw Dragon Tiger Gate... The trailer is kind of better than the whole film... Col says Chinese cinema isn't about the plot line but the scenes.... Makes sense!

The night before we saw Slither!! Ems, it's damn funny!!!! Best 'horror' we've seen in a looong while! Really recommend it! I mean, it's just like an 80's horror! Very much like Shaun of the Dead!!! Sooo funny!!! Gonna get the DVD in Bangkok, definately!

Col's Top 20 Wind-Ups/Surprises

...for the airport (we will get picked up by Mum and Trev!)

 1 - Stick a cushion up Jessie's shirt and pretend she's pregnant

2 - Wear some matching rings and pretend we got married

3 - Come back with a Thai Girl instead of Jessie

4 - Come back with a Thai Girl as well as Jessie

5 - Borrow someone's Newborn Baby to walk in with

6 - Arrive in Malay dress and pretend we have converted to Islam

7 - Find a wheelchair and pretend Jessie's been horribly crippled

8 - Tuck my arm inside my shirt and pretend I lost it in Vietnam

9 - Arrive in handcuffs and pretend I've been arrested for smuggling

10 - Bring back an army of children and pretended we've adopted them

11 - Only Jessie could turn up and pretend she lost me in Thailand

12 - Wear all of my clothes and pretend I got really fat

13 - Grow a very perculiar mustache - the horror!

14 - Get some enormous Henna tattoos and pretend they are real

15 - Come back in rags and claim we have lived this way for months

16 - Ring Mum's mobile at the airport and tell her that we have changed our mind about coming back

17 - I could come back in women's clothes and pretend I'm now a Ladyboy

18 - Say I photoshopped the pictures and that we have been living in England all this time

19 - Pretend that me and Jessie have been arguing for 6 months and that we refuse to speak to one another

20 - Send some friends back instead of us and pretend we have changed a lot

Col is forgiven....

...for switching off my computer as he sent me this cute kitten in a pie!!!

(We haven't gone mad, honest!)

More cinema....

Nacho Libre - oh my goodness! Jack Black is hilarious!

An American Haunting - don't see it!!! Worst film in a long time... Even worse than Superman!

Tonight we're gonna go and see some more rubbish, either Slither, The Voice or The Dorm.....

Singapore

Had such a great time in Singapore, just got back last night. Wow, we could live there! So green and modern, and all the old buildings look great too. Best Chinatown in the world??

Wrote a really funny and interesting entry about this but Col accidently switched my 'puter off, so I have no energy to write it again (also, my coffee rush is wearing off!) Bit shopped out too, spent yesterday in malls in Singers and today here in KL in the Golden Triangle (millions of massive malls) - and what have I bought?? Nothing, bloody nothing!!! Damn it!! Seen lots of nice stuff, but it just didn't fit right... And I can't decide what I want to get from Vincci (the best shoe shop in Asia)......

And.... it's just 1 week left of our travels!!!!!

Melaka - Just Like Europe!

Had a few days in Malaysia's former capital Melaka. It's a very pretty town and has old houses (for Asia anyway).

The Town Square could be anywhere in Europe really! Pretty cool to see! Seems like the old fort and grave stones have been replaced though.... In Asia old just isn't acceptable, they like their old stuff to look new! Hopefully the things they've replaced are stored in a museum somewhere....!

Were meant to head off to a Waterworld Park place today, but we left it for another time. Col's last experience (when he got some weird decease) in Spain kind of put us off too...

Off to Singers tomorrow.. Known as Singapore to the non-traveller...Hmm.. (The cool names don't really do a lot for me!) The whole country has a Massive Sale on so we're looking forward to it! Should afford to eat now then!!! Or maybe they only have the sale on for computers and stuff... How disappointing that would be!

Will let you know how it was when we get back to KL which should be on the 26th or 27th or so : )

11 Days until we fly!!! Woooohooo!

Rolling Bones...Oh yes!!!

Ohhhh!!! Managed to get tickets for The Rolling Stones final UK concert of their tour!!! Cooool!! It's for Col's birthday, but a little bit for me too of course! Keith is coming along too, so it'll be a proper road trip. Wonder if we should take the bug maybe??? I wonder if the bug even moves these days or if it's turned into a rusty old thing... Ohhh... Poor bug, all deserted....

Beachy day in Penang

I thinbk we've had our last beachy day now..! Until Sweden anyway!!!

So happy, just found out that Johan and Lisa have taken an extra weeks holiday for when we're in Sweden!!! Wooooohhooooo!!! Oh, it's just perfect! And Karro isn't off to Greece until we've left!

Everything is working out perfectly!!!

Have also found the best birthday pressie for Col, tickets for Stones!!! Just waiting for Keith to sort out who else wants to come! Might just have to buy 4 tickets and let the 4th person fight for it! Unless you want it Ems??!

Had a lovely few days on this Chinese-y island of Penang. Off tomorrow though - Melacca is next, it's a few hours south of KL and used to be the capital... Then Singapore!! So cool!

Keith Richards injured??

When did this happen?? What was he doing?!

"Some would say he's been out of his tree for years. But things certainly looked bleak for Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards in April when he fell off a branch in Fiji and had to have an operation on his brain."

Smelly Weirdoes...

That's it!!!! I've reached the very limit of how many Idiot Travellers I can talk to in a lifetime!!! Bloody weirdoes have taken over this planet I think!!! Especially at the pretty cool guest house we've stayed at in KL.... Haven't met a single normal person there yet!The ones we have met, well, they all Smell and they're all Weird!!!! Grrrrr! Get me out of here!!!!! !

(PS The Smelly Weirdo slogan obviously does not apply to any of the Cool Travellers we've met along the way - if you were indeed smelly or weird we wouldn't have given you this blog address! Ahh! Bless!)

Don't Move Or I'll Shoot!

Films...

So we watched a few more...!

Superman Returns - just watch an old one, this is just the same.... bit boring to say the least.... (Don't waste your money on it!)

Inside Man - Cooool!

Hmmm... Can't remember the rest... T B C!

Pool!

Forgot to say! The last few days in Bali we stayed in a place with a pool! The luxuary!!!

20 Favourite Songs of all time

Damn that Emma! She's got my brain going now! Her and her mates are doing CDs of their Top 20 songs ever, and I'm trying to compose one too.... And just thought that everyone out there should do the same!!! I mean, what else is there to worry about?!?! So shall I have The Smiths or Morrissey in there??! Tricky trick!

20 days left....

..until we're back in Engeland! Unreal! So looking forward to it now though! And Sweden in a month! Cool!

Yesterday and today have been pretty cool days. Just settling back into KL life, meaning Shopping Malls and Cinema. Today has been a little different though, we headed out of the city in the morning to Batu Caves, a holy Hindu site. Veeery nice indeed! It took all my strenght to climb up into the cave though. Col being superfit like he is just sprinted up!! Maybe if I'd been carrying all my stuff around the last 6 months (instead of Col), well, maybe I'd have sprinted up there too! Hmm!

Have booked tickets up north for the morning. Going to an island called Penang and the town of Georgetown. I think it was the first place which got colonised by the Brits, and should be really pretty. I'm hoping for cooler, fresher weather too. Never thought I'd say it, but this heat here, well, I just can't cope with it! Can't sleep at night, it's not me at all!

Gonna research Waterparks now! Wooohhh!

Take The Lead

Went and hid out in the KLCC again last night, and ended up in the cinema, hmm, how did that happen again?? Anyway, we saw Take The Lead with Antonio Banderas, pretty cool film! I wanna dance like them! Soo, when we get back to London Town, it's courses for us all the way : )

Just cross fingers we'll get a teacher like Antonio...!
