Arrived in HCMC a few days ago! It's a bit mad here, especially since we spent the last 5 days lazying on a beach in Mui Ne (which was fantastic I thought!!!). We've been busy since we arrived in the capital though, anaged to visit both the war museum and also the Cu Chi Tunnels. Our guide was very good and we got to crawl around for a few hours. Lots of weird propaganda too, but, hey, it is to be expected. Saw lots of traps the Viet Cong put ot and they were scary! Ugghh! Nothing to what we saw in the museum though.. Some things the American did.. The Agent Orange and it's victims... Uhh.. Can't even write about it...
Anyway, we're here just for another day or two, then off to Cambodia and hopefully an Easter fest of Mini Eggs.... Well, one can dream right??! Jo, you think you can make it happen??! Haahaha! It's actually Cambodia's New Year celebrations (3 days) when we get there, lots of water/talcum powder fights! Can't wait!!!
Sorry, this one is all over the place...I think I need one of those coffee shakes and wake up a bit before next blogage!
